"I started making candles in 2012 for myself because I was not impressed with the candles that were in stores.

 

By trial and error I came up with a wax and scent formulation that gives a full & complete burn to the bottom, giving off a highly scented candle.

 

I began giving my candles to family and friends as gifts and before I knew it, those people were placing orders from me. By 2013, Crafts on Branch Avenue was established and has been going strong ever since.

 

At the end of 2019, we relocated and decided 2020 would be a fresh start and rebrand with a new name "Morningbird Candles".
